Heavy ceramics with a gentle soul

Strength and power paradoxically reveal themselves best in harmony with fragility and gentleness. Designers Dávid Valovič and Šimon Valovič emphasize this balance in their project Wavy x Faro. 

Wavy x Faro comprises two sets of large ceramic products with different uses, created using a single extrusion technique. The production process allows for the creation of unique forms. The natural movement of plants towards light inspired Dávid’s designs for Wavy Planters pots, which are modular and suitable for various types of plants. They stand out both indoors and outdoors.

Wavy Planters do not require an additional saucer and are fully functional as a single unit, making watering easier. The version with compartments allows for the separate cultivation of multiple types of plants in one pot. Wavy Planters fit anywhere and can bring playfulness and gentleness to any space. Thanks to the strength and
durability of their material, they will last for many years.

The Faro collection offers stylish stools and tables that function either individually or as a set. The base of each piece of furniture consists of an extruded part, which can be used as a comfortable seat or topped with a colorful glass plate to transform it into a table. They are suitable for businesses, cafes, restaurants, studios, offices, as well as residential spaces, balconies, terraces, or anywhere where it needs a fresh breath of ocean air from Portugal’s Faro.
